Continuing Education for the Workforce

Metal Inert Gas (MIG)
Welding For Employment

This 10 week welding course is designed to provide students with a basic knowledge of Metal Inert Gas (MIG) Welding. The course includes both classroom and hands on applications. A minimum of 90 hours of  instructor supervised welding lab practice is required to successfully complete this course.

 Skills gained in this class can be used to seek employment as an entry-level production welder in fabrication and manufacturing industries.

Supply List:  Safety Glasses, Pliers (8"), Vice Grips (8"), Welding Gloves, Boots (8" high), Spark Lighter, Wire Brush, Soapstone, Welding Goggles (#5 Shade) and Welding Helmet (#10 Shade).
